The Theatre

The Peterhouse Theatre is a superb example of a late-Victorian theatre, originally the lecture theatre of the former University Museum of Classical Archaeology, designed by Basil Champneys in the 1880s and acquired by the College in 1984. Its intimacy and excellent acoustics make it probably the finest venue for Chamber music in Cambridge.

Interval refreshments

During the interval of our concerts we serve red and white wine, orange juice, and still and sparkling water at the bar in the Theatre.
